How Do I Adult? is a supportive five-week group program designed for university students who are looking for support while they navigate transitioning into adulthood and looking to build confidence, resilience, and practical skills for everyday life. It's a space to reflect and have discussions about who you want to become.
Between university, work, relationships, finances, and trying to figure out who you are, it's easy to feel overwhelmed or like everyone else has it all together. The truth is, many young adults are navigating the same uncertainties—you don't have to do it alone.
What to Expect-
Each week, there is a guided discussion topic addressing common themes that often arise in the therapy room for young adults. Having the space to explore these topics a little deeper can support awarness, growth and reflection.
-
Connection is a core part of the process. You’ll learn just as much from the group as from the content itself.
-
Led by experienced guides who know how to hold space, encourage participation, and keep things moving with purpose.
-
Our events prioritize comfort, safety, and respect—so you can show up as you are and fully engage in the process.
-
We often include optional check-ins, next steps, or community resources to help you keep the momentum going.
Program Outline
-
The first session is an opportunity for the group to connect and set the tone for the rest of the program. We start with a brief introduction and set group rules to ensure the space feels comfortable for everyone who attends. It will also provide an opportunity for the facilitator to check in with participants’ hopes or goals for the duration of the program
-
Our first session focuses on lifestyle and exploring what that looks like. We reflect on what does balance means and how we create that when there are competing components.
-
Who am I? this is the big question we often are faced with
-
We deep dive into what happens when life is stressful, what tools do we have to manage?
-
To close out the program we have final reflections on all the topics previously discussed. What came up and which lessons we want to carry forward.

Yes, the program is designed to have you attend every week for the duration of the program. Should you miss a session there is unfortunately no make up group session available. The cost accounts for attendance for the full 5 sessions, therefore there won’t be any refunds for missed sessions. We request participants commit to attendance each week.
Should you wish to go over the content you missed on a particular week you may request an individual session to be scheduled with the facilitator but this will be charged at private individual session fees of $210 -
You will receive confirmation once payment has been received. You can choose to either make full payment or at least a 50% deposit, with the rest of the payment needing to be finalised by the first session date. Please let us know at time of contact which payment option you’d like to proceed with.
Without payment, your spot can not be reserved and may be offered to someone else. We operate on a first-come, first-served policy.
